PaperTension Ribbon course

Privacy note · 29 September 2026

The ribbon stays on your device.

PaperTension is a casual game: you guide an unrolling paper strip by holding and releasing tension. This note explains the privacy label Apple shows for that app. It is written for players and families. It is not a legal opinion about the law where you live.

Data not collected No account Age 4+

What your hands do

Play is a single action. Hold to pull the ribbon tight for a sharp turn. Release so it slackens through a wider curve. The strip, the obstacles, and the tear when you over-stretch are the game itself, running on the iPhone or iPad where you installed it.

The App Store listing does not describe a login, a public name, chat, or a friends list. You are not asked to type a phone number, a photo, a home address, or a precise location to thread the course.

What the store label says

Apple’s privacy section for PaperTension states that data is not collected. In that label, the developer does not collect data from this app. This page does not invent extra categories on top of that statement.

Apple also notes that privacy practices can vary, for example with the features you use or with your age. The live label on the App Store product page is the place to check if that wording changes.

If the label says nothing is collected, this note does not add a private list of events, identifiers, or partners.

Apple still delivers the app

PaperTension is distributed on the App Store. Downloading, updating, and the privacy switches in iOS and iPadOS are Apple platform activity. Those steps follow Apple’s terms and Apple’s privacy policy, including whatever your Apple ID and device settings already cover.

Removing PaperTension removes the local copy the system kept for that app. If you use a device backup you turned on yourself, such as iCloud Backup, that backup follows Apple’s backup settings.

This page is only an introduction

The PaperTension pages here describe the game and this privacy note. They do not open an account, do not ask you to sign in, and do not include a message form. The only off-site link is the App Store listing for the game.

Households and younger players

The App Store age rating is 4+. A parent or guardian decides whether to install the game. Screen Time, Ask to Buy, and Family Sharing can limit or approve installs where those Apple tools are available.

The listing does not require a child to create a profile before the ribbon starts unrolling. If you believe a child sent personal information to the publisher outside ordinary play, use the support options on the App Store product page so the request can be reviewed.

How to ask a question

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain uses. PaperTension does not publish a personal email address or a personal website for those requests.

Send questions through the support options on the PaperTension App Store listing. Say what you are asking and include only the detail needed to find the request.

If this note is rewritten

If a later version of PaperTension starts collecting data, this page will be replaced with a dated revision, and the App Store privacy label should be updated to match. Until that happens, the practice described here is on-device ribbon play under a store label of data not collected.

The date at the top is the date of this wording.

The current listing, the privacy label, and support for PaperTension all live on the App Store page.
